This page describes Sand World and its website, provided by BinaryBears LLC. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@binarybears.com.

Sand World is currently in development. This page covers the game and its public website. Test builds may use test advertising or have online features disabled while release configuration is completed.

This website

The website has no sign-up form, analytics tracker or advertising script. The game video, images and fonts are served with the site. Your language selection lasts only for the current page; the site does not save it in cookies or browser storage.

The colored pointer trail is drawn in your browser. Pointer positions are not transmitted or retained. Opening an external link or sending an email is subject to the privacy practices of the service you use. The website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Data stored by the game

The app saves your current game, personal best, settings, recent performance and advertising reward state on your device. Historical advertising revenue records, when available, are also stored locally.

The game does not require a developer account. Local game data remains on the device until removed, for example by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it.

Optional usage analytics

Production builds can use Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand game sessions and how often players return. We ask for your choice at the end of the gameplay tutorial. The Usage data preference starts on for new installations, but no Analytics collection begins unless you explicitly agree and that decision is saved. Existing saved preferences are preserved; an old on setting is not treated as consent. You can play the same game if you decline. The QA test build does not send these analytics, even if you agree.

When usage analytics is enabled and any required consent has been obtained, Firebase processes an app-instance identifier and technical and usage information, such as app version, device information, session activity and coarse location derived from network information. Our custom game events use duration and level ranges and music choices; they do not include your name, email, exact score or game-save contents. We do not set a developer user ID. Advertising ID collection and advertising personalization are disabled for Firebase Analytics. This analytics choice is separate from advertising consent.

If you decline, a discreet reminder may appear on a later app launch, no sooner than seven days and a randomly chosen three to six new app launches after the previous request. After three refusals we stop asking automatically. Replaying the tutorial does not reset your choice. Turning Usage data off yourself also stops reminders. You can reopen the choice at any time through Settings → Privacy → Usage data. We store the decision and reminder limits locally. Regional and age-related release requirements are being validated before production distribution.

Turning Usage data off stops future collection by this integration and resets the local Analytics identifier. This does not automatically delete information already processed by Google. For questions or deletion requests, contact us below. See Firebase privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Advertising and your choices

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. The current preview uses test advertising identifiers. Optional rewarded videos can offer a continuation or a clear-field bonus; full-screen ads may appear between games.

Google’s Mobile Ads SDK can process IP addresses, app interactions, diagnostic information and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google documents this processing in its Mobile Ads data disclosure and Privacy Policy.

The app checks advertising consent through Google’s consent tools. Where choices are required, you can revisit them through the app’s privacy controls. Advertising choices do not prevent you from continuing to play.

Google Play Games

Google Play Games is currently being tested with authorized testers. When you connect to Google Play Games, an earned best score may be submitted and displayed with your gaming profile in the leaderboard. The app can show the top ten public scores and keep an earned record locally to retry submission when connectivity returns. Google manages your gaming profile and its privacy controls.

Your requests

Sand World is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us so we can investigate and address the request. The final regional store content ratings are assigned through Google Play’s rating process.

You can remove data saved by the app through Android’s app storage settings. For information about your data, correction or deletion requests, or a concern about how the game handles it, email support@binarybears.com. Data processed independently by Google is managed under Google’s policies and account or device controls.
